Told Have High Body Heat, Senile, Unaware About It. How Is It?
My husband is 83 years old and is in pretty good health. Yes, he sees his primary care physician regularly(an internist).
He always has very high body heat. Last night I awoke 3 times, when he'd roll over by me, as his body was so hot. When I told him today he was unaware of it. Whew, how can that be?

People are usualy non aware of high body heat,especially elderly. The most common causes are any kind of infection,but sometimes neurologic and endocrine causes may be considered. ALso ,the exact cause is sometimes unfound. He should do basic blood tests to evaluate inflammatory factors and blood culture. Wish you good health.
