Took Aspirin On Empty Stomach. Having Burning Sensation. Solution To Relieve Burning?

Been starving (eating very lightly) starting Monday after Thanksgiving including a few diet pills. Took BC powder last night on relatively empty stomach. Stomach has been burning since. Some Pepto this morning and eating lightly. Just had a small salad. Stomach still hurts/burns. It's pretty clear what I have done wrong. Aspirin on empty stomach - duh - LOL. But what is best relief? Over the counter, or to eat or drink. It's killing me all day and won't ease up.

Hello,
I have gone through your query and understood your concerns. It is very common to have burning sensation when you take aspirin on empty stomach as it is a gastric irritant. I suggest you to take tablet pantoprazole now or ranitidine which will help you. Eat normally within time. Thank you.
