Took L-Arginine For Healing The Wounds But Can It Cause Drowsiness?

My Grandmother is on something call L-Arginine to assist with healing wounds. I have had to call the ambulance to her and was told this is generally used as an antidepressant and can cause drowsiness. She has just had a fall could this be the reason? Why are there no warnings of this on the bottle?

HELLO AND WELCOME. L ARGININE HAS A LOT OF POTENTIAL PHARMACOLOGICAL USES, EG ITS USED IN SEPSIS TRAUMA N POST OP ETC. IT DOESNT CAUSE DROWSINESS, ITS MAINLY A PITUITARY STIMULANT. SO THERE MUST BE ANOTHER CAUSE FOR THE DROWSINESS. THANX
