Took Novocaine Before Filling Cavities. Have Painful Rash On Temple. Swollen Under Ear. Novocaine Reaction?

I had 2 teeth back bottom molar and 3rd tooth in on samecside with bad cavities. Took 8 shots of novocaine to numb me for the fillings on thursday. On friday afternoon I noticed a small rash break out on temple region on that side. Rash does not itch but is painful to the touch. Later that night I started to notice pain that resembles tendonitis from the back of my jaw past my ear and up to where the rash is. I also have a swollen lump at base of jaw under ear. Is this a possible reaction to that much novocaine?

yes this can be true
or any antibiotic or pain killer used can cause this
you can see the salts which you took for during and after treatment
now you can take antiallergics
the root allergies can cause swelling in glands of throat
you can take metrogyl 200 mg bd for 5 days
fexofnadine bd for 10 days
apply local antiallergic creams over the area
