Took Percocet. Denied As The Drug Screen Was Negative. Also Take Calcium, B12, Bisoprolol. Would Bactrim DS Cause A False Negative Drug Screen?
would taking Bactrim DS cause a false negative drug screen? I take Percocet 5 mg 4 x day and was recently denied more treatment because my drug screen was negative. I also take otc calcium, B12, Vitamin with iron, simvastatin, bisoprolol and amlodipine. It was also 2 days between the drug test and the last dose of Percocet. Thank you.

Bactrim DS is an antibiotic. It can help in clearing infections if any , but has no effect on drugs that you are taking. One thing is every drug has a half life. Since it was two days since you took the drug last it would have given you a negative result.
