Took Plan B Last Week. Had Unexpected Light Period. Got Thick Jelly Like Clump. Yellow/brown Discharge. Cramping, Bloating. Problem?
I took plan b Wednesday and Saturday of last week. This past Monday I had an unexpected period, but it was light. It stopped yesterday and last night I had thick, jelly like clump if clear discharge, with a tinge of yellow/brown. I still have mild cramping sometimes and bloating. Could these still be side effects of plan b even after a week? I took a pregnancy test this morning, but it would still be early. Also, could I be ovulating? I should start my period around the 18th.
Hello. Thanks for writing to us. The mild spotting and clump that you are having is a common side effect of the Plan B that you have taken. It is a high dose hormonal pill and causes such withdrawal bleeding. I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
