Took I Pill. Bled For 6 Days. Missed Period Followed. Side Effects Of Tablet?
hi dr i have a query , i and my gf had intercourse on 27aug , and her last periods was on 17aug and ended on 21aug, and i had intercourse on 27th aug with condom , but for extra precautions she took a ipill within 3hrs of intercours , after 7days of intercourse she had viginal bleeding for 3days , and her menstrual cycle is about 28 or 29 days of every month, and her expected periods should bee sep 14 or 15 , but now her periods is delayed till today its 6days still she not got her periods . and she not have any symptoms of pregnancy . accept delay in periods, now delay in periods is due to said effect of pill or she is pregnant now ??,pls assist me am worried a lot .,

Hello,
It is quite normal to have your normal periods to occur early or late after consuming an I PILL.However if the delay in periods is more than a week,then you should consult a doctor and get examined.
Since it is already 6 days late,you may wait for a couple of days more and then consult a doctor,if periods don't arrive in between.
