Took Medication For Back Pain. Feeling Nausea And Dizzy. How Long Will It Take To Recover From The Medication Side Effects?

Recently (approx. 1 month ago) I injured my back whilst working on a remote community and my doctor prescribed codalgin to relieve pain and inflammation as I couldn't sleep or walk/sit for any length of time. My back has improved significantly and I haven't needed to take. He prescribed 1 tablet daily. I work as a tutor and had a headache on Thursday (now Sat) and took 2 tablets (thinking they were panadol) and within about half an hour felt dizzy, nauseous and very unwell. I told my student that I felt unwell and we stopped the class and I had to walk approx. 3 kilometres to busstop,wait one hour for bus and just made it home to uni and fell on bed - slept till the following morning. I felt lethargic yesterday but not nauseous. Today around 12 lunch I felt nauseous and have just arrived back at uni. How long does the effects of these tablets take to wear off? I didn't notice anything like this when I took one and needed it for pain relief. Apprec. Shirleen.

This is due to gastritis , ( side effects of drugs)
Plenty of water and blend diet will improve the condition very soon.
If you want relief at once than take one or two antacid tablets (OTC).
Over dose of drugs usually causes gastritis.
Within next 2-3 days you will recover.
