A week ago yesterday, I took a Celbrex with a Zantac (I usually take it on the weekends so I can run my dog in agility).Soon after, I got a sharp pain in my stomach (high). I threw up all night and felt like I was going to die. I had a very sharp pain in my high stomach with sweats and chills. I was weak and shakey the next day but up and moving the day after. Then I ate too much on Monday and threw up all night again with the same symptoms. I wanted to die the next day. I went to see the doctor. My gums were almost pure white. He listened to my heart, took BP and that was it. Said come back in a week for colonospcopy and endoscapy and bloodwork! I left feeling worse than when I went in. He gave me nothing for my nausea or pain. So, I started taking Pepto (liqud), kept it down and felt better. No vomitting but chills and sweating, lots of sweating and weakness. I have gotten a little better each day. Now it has been 9 days and I finally feel like I am going to live. Gums are back to normal. No more stomach pain and, sadly, my appitite returned. I am goign to cancel the tests. Do you think it could be an ulcer or was some kind of virus?
