Treatment For Meniere's Syndrome Apart From Vertin?
Hi Doctor, my mom is 65+ and she is suffering from Peripheral vertigo(Meniere syndrome). She has taken a treatment but it does not help much, she took Vertin-16 for almost two month. It was good during those period and for another 2/3 months. But now the problem started again. Please suggest a proper medication for Meniere syndrome which she can continue. Thank you

There are no specific medications for Meniere's disease and i think she will have to continue vertin for symptomatic treatment. she must reduce her coffee and tea intake and also reduce the salt intake in her diet.
please meet your ent again as she may need some dose alteration also!
