Hi I had a hystrectomy in June. It was laparoscopic procedure. I seemed to heal well. Took it easy until the Dr. Told me I can resume my normal activities and get back to work.. I started taking HRT, was feeling great. Until November, feeling a little edgy and crazy without a sex drive. My HRTwas switched up and feeling balanced. January comes and I am starting to feel extremely gassy. Thought I had a stomach bug, so I wait it out. Three weeks later, I go to a gastro Dr. They do a couple of tests, they say everything is normal gave me Levsin and said welcome to middle age ! Whatever THAT means! They diagnosed me with IBS. Which means they have no idea what s wrong with me. So they basically wrote me off. I am still experiencing gas and bloating and pain in my lower pelvic reason whenever I eat. The pain is near my belly button and lower. I am not a Dr, nor am I in the medical field. But could it be I have adhesions growing and pressing on my intestines? I have a terrible family history of cancer. My mother and father both died at 58. Mom of Ovarian and my Dad had pancreatic. I don t mean to sound dramatic, but I am really starting to worry that something is terribly wrong.. Any insight you may have, is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Lisa
