Treatment For Lower Back Pain And Vaginal Bleeding After Falling On Ice

A month ago I slipped on ice and hit my left lower back (kidney area) on the steps. I was in an immense amount of pain for several days to the point I had to have help getting off the couch, into the shower, etc. it's still a little sore even now and I have a numb feeling in my left leg. To top it off I began vaginally bleeding right after that and am still bleeding even now. Sometimes lightly and then there are days that there are actual clots. I'm not sure if this is coincidental or not with my fall but it is def not normal for me. I don't have insurance so I haven't been able to see a dr but it's really made me scared that this is something very serious!

hi
as far as numbness in left leg is cocern there may a pressure on nerve following fall, if your motor power i.e. ability to move arund and climbing up/down is normal without support, you will get over the numbness part but you need medical supervision.
as far vaginal bleed is concern get Ultrasonography abdomen done. I am sorry but you need to see a gynaecologist .

Hello dear
definitely what you suffering from is not normal
bleeding from vaginally may be because of some trauma to the uterus or the kidney or the normal menstrual cycle
as far as the pain is still there you should try to take analgesics with muscle relaxant
you better see a doctor or get an ultra sound scan of your abdomen
for the numbness you require a Mri of the spine to see if there is a nerve root compression in the lumbar region ( basically to rule out spinal cord injury ) till time you can take neurotropic drugs as methycobalamine and gabapentin
if you feel to ask more feel free to contact again
