Trying To Get Pregnant, On Medication Both For Pregnancy, Levothyroxine For TSH, . Will Both Conflict?
Hi my daughter just called me...she had her thyroid taken out 2 years ago and is on medication levothyroxine 88 mcg and some other med for t3 her TSH was stable for many months at 0.03 now her TSH is 5,46 she told me that for about month she does not feel good more headaches and cold hands and feet...she is trying to get pregnant and is taking medication for it...just want to know what will make that TSH jump

Actually the medicines for thyroid supplement & the medicines for conception ,(you daughter is taking-) both go hand in hand for pregnancy.
You have not mentioned, what type of medicines she is taking to enhance the chances of conception
The raised TSH she has developed recently,indicates need to change the dose of Levothyroxine.Please consult Endocrinologist & get it corrected.The optimum level of thyroxin is essential conception.
