Trying To Reduce Smoking. Best Dosage To Start Nicotine Patches?

Hello..., this is jacob.., I have been trying to reduce my smoking since last two months. My average daily consumption is around 5-6 cigarettes ..., previously it was around 10-12 cigarettes a day. Now looking for some low dose nicotine patches .... where can i get them in Trichy, Tamil nadu, India. and I don t want to take gums. what would be the best dosage to start with.

I appreciate you for taking the initiative to quit smoking and for seeking help regarding the same. Nicotine patches are part of the Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) programs, where low doses of nicotine is delivered to the body, in order to prevent withdrawal symptoms and reduce craving.

In Trichy, you would be able to get them at Vasan Medicals. For your smoking pattern, you can start with a 14mg patch initially and then step it down to a 7mg patch.
