Twitching In Head And Shaking Sensation. What Is This Called?

Hi. My name is Katie. I have been having this feeling in my head like I'm shaking and twitching its been going on for about 3 years and it happens at lest 3 times a day. When this happens I cant seem to make myself move and all I seem to be able to do is stare at whatever it was that I was staring at right before the feeling kicks in. There are sometimes I will be sitting when it happens and I'm able to lay down while its happening but it just seems to make things worse. I was wondering do you have any clue what this could mean?

Neurologist 's  Response
Hi,
Thank you for posting your query.
It is possible that you are having seizures, based on your symptoms.
Please consult a neurologist and undergo MRI brain and EEG for confirmation of the diagnosis.
Use of antiepileptic drugs may help you.
Please get back if you require any additional information.

Best wishes,
