Type 1 Diabetes, Pain In Right Thigh. Pain Killers Taken. Suggestions?
HI I am a 33 year old women. I am pretty active . I have Type 1 diabeties. Reacently I was woken early in the morning with a searing pain in the middle of my right thigh. I tried to stretch it out but it did'nt easy the pain. I ended up taking pain killers and within an hour the pain subsided. Since then I have had a dull aching pain in the same place. It does'nt feel like a muscle injury more like in the bone. Hope you can help.
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The sudden pain in the thigh that you had is likely to be due to a muscle cramp. Any bone related pathology is not likely. You can do a hot fomentation in the area and apply a local analgesic gel for temporary relief.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
