Hi Leela, Welcome to HealthcareMagic Forum.
Since your Husband is ill, he needs a high calorie, high protein diet and fluid filled diet in the beginning. Give him meals every 2 to 3 hours and they should be small which contains sufficient salts and fluids and of low fiber content for example, Khichri
Rice with curds and custard, which is called a Bland diet and easily digestible. As his condition improves, larger meals may be given. Let him avoid spicy foods and fried items.
Let him take his medications regularly and go for regular follow up.
Good Luck.

Typhoid. What Diet I Should Follow ?
Hi Welcome to Healthcare Magic Forum Deit in typhoid should be like one gives to a child- khichdii, milk, cured + rice, milk + bread and so. It should not contain spices. But sugar and salt can be added according to taste. Small frequent meals, low fat, low fibre and easily digestible. Takecare For further enquires- dranshita.rathore@yahoo.co.in
