UTI, Swollen Bartholins Gland, Tender, Uncomfortable. Treatment?

i am 16 and i recently suffered UTI, which i have had in the past and they are mild and clear up quickly so there was nothing to worry about, but this time i now have a swollen bartholins gland and it is very uncomfortable and tender, and now the UTI has reoccured. i was wondering if these are caused by the same bacteria and what treatments would be best

Hi,
For both infections you may go for one antibiotic medicine course for 5-7 days.
If there is recurrent Bertholin's gland infection, go for excision with sac after consulting gynaec.
Keep local hygiene clean and dry.
Ok and take care.
