Ultrasound Of Abdomen Suggests Bilateral Polycystic Ovaries. No Endometrial Polyp. Explain
ULTRA SOUND - LOWER ABDOMEN
Uterus is anteverted and is normal in size,shape and echotexture, measuring about 3,3 x 4.2 x 5,8 cms. Myometrium and endometrium are normal. No focal space occupying lesion is seen. Endometrial thickness is 6.3 mms.
Both ovaries appear enlarged. Multiple small cysts are seen in perephery of both the ovaries.
Right ovary measures 23x 19 x 27 mm (vol 6,6 mi).
Left ovary 30 x 20 x 30 mm.(vol .9.9 mi.)
No adnexal mass is seen.
No free fluid is seen in pouch of douglas.
Urinary bladder is normal in its outline. No mass lesion is seen.
IMPRESSION: Ultrasound features are suggestive of bilateral polycystic ovaries. No endometrial polyp seen.

Your Ultrasound findings suggests that
Both ovaries are enlarged in size with cysts(fluid like material filled )within and these are situated along periphery of ovaries s/o polycystic ovaries.
Polycystic ovaries are associated with hormonal imbalance,infertility and menstrual problems.
Uterus is normal in size and echo texture.
Endometrial thickness is also normal.
Both adnexa are also normal.
No fluid in POD.This is also normal.
Urinary bladder is also normal.
