Unable To Get D&C Done Since The Doctor Hit A Hard Thing Inside. Could It Be The Fibroids?
I just had a D&C yesterday but the dr couldn't do it. He said it was going through a cement wall and he didn't want to puncture my uterus. so I have to do it again. he's going to give me a pill to open up my cervix. I have a 8cm fibroid outside and a few inside my uterus. I asked him could the fibroid be the blame but he doesn't know. After the second one if that doesn't work I have to see a specialist. I was going to have a hysterectomy but now after this I don't want to. I'm so confused. I rather deal with the pain. I'm having bad luck already. Is this a bad sign?
Hello. Thanks for writing to us. The hard thing that was felt during D&C is not likely to be a fibroid. A fibroid has a firm tissue like feel. The hard feeling could be due to a thickened endometrium. An ultrasound scan will help in confirmation. I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
