**
1. probably ESWL (extra corporeal shock wave lithotripsy) was performed, which requires positioning on hard surface for prolonged period and this might have put pressure on superficial nerve resulting in nerve injury and resulting weakness.
2. any associated distinctive sensory or motor finding?
3. You should Consult a Neurologist for a Neurological Examination and a Chiropractic treatment.
4. recent research has revealed that ESWL might cause injury to Pancreas and kidney resulting in Diabetes and Hypertension (check with his blood sugar and blood pressure)
