Unable To Sleep With Pain In The Chest And Head On Taking Levothyroxine After Being Diagnosed With Hypothyroid. What Should Be Done?

I was diagnosed 5wks ago with hypothyroid, with my lab showing low normal thyroid level. Dr prescribed levothyroxine 50mcg. I cannot sleep. I am having chest pain and headaches. Help! I go for lab in a few days, and then dr a wk. later. This is so bad.

Thanks for your query at hcm.

Symptoms might be because of thyroid hormone supplements . you might need dose adjustment . consult your physician for further on thyroid hormone dose levels . also get a ECG done.
