Undergone D And C. Ultrasound Done. What Does Result Mean?
hi my wife had a d&e six months back. because doctors could not find fetal pole in ultrasound after 12 weeks.... from 3 days my wife had pain in her right side pelvis. We went to doctor yesterday a BHCG tests show positive. and Ultrasound report shows single intrauterine gastational sac corresponding to g/age 4 wks +/- 1 wk fetal pole not seen. RO is enlarged, measures 6.8x3.2cm, shows an anchoic cystic lesion with internal thick interloking septae, could be a hemorrhagic / endometriotic cyst? LTO = normal... what does it means? and they asked me to followup after 2 wks for fetal pole
Hi thanks for your question. Based on my experience ,Your wife has right tubo ovarian mass and non viable pregnancy however its always good to repeat ultrasound after 3 weeks to confirm because after 7 weeks the anatomy of gestational sac will clearly be seen . Hope I answered your question, will be happy to help you if you have other questions.
