Unwell, Have Been On Treatment For Malaria And Infection In Blood. Then Antibiotics For Typhoid, Still Feverish. What To Do ?
Hello Doctor, thank you for yur requesting. Pls iv been unwell for going to 3 months now, treating malaria severally and infection in blood. Later Malaria cleared, Tyhpoid detected. Antibiotics prescribed. I completed d drug. ImprovEments came. But still feeling low fever in d afternoons.went back to doctor jst last week. Blood test revealed slight malaria again. Treatment given. Dose completred. Feeling better also , but still having battle symptons of slight feel of fever. Now I feel ok as its evening. Pls what do I do ? I'm worried. I'm from Nigeria thank s . Pls help
Hello, Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum. Since you have't mentioned complete history of illness . Only treated for malaria and typhoid fever . In my opinion get in blood for E S R ( although some physician call it as non-specific but I believe that if E S R very high means chronic severe infection present). In you case get in an X ray of chest and you will find the reason of low grade evening rise of temperature. So consult a physician and get his opinion and treatment . Good luck. Dr. HET
