Upper Back, Back Of Head Pain, Tingling Limbs, Aching Legs, Losing Balance. Taking Hydrocodone. Suggestions?
I started with pain in my upper back about 5 days ago. Now in addition to that I have pain going up the back of my head on both sides, tingling in my hands and feet, aching legs from the knee down and I lose balance when I stand up after lying down. I went to the doctor on Friday and they did an xray of my neck area and that showed nothing. They did blood work but I don't know the results of that yet. I am not a person who gets sick or feels like this. I am taking hydrocodone for the pain, but that is not working for the pain in the back of my head and I feel really bad when I wake up in the morning. This is really starting to scare me.
Hello. Thanks for writing to us. The pain and the difficulty in balancing that you are having could be related to the side effects of hydrocodone that you have been taking. If the symptoms are not relieved after tapering off hydrocodone then possibility of migraine needs to be considered. I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
