Upper Endoscopy Done Second Time. Having Sore Throat. Swelling, Pain, Redness In Neck. Is This Normal?

Hello I had an Upper Endoscopy done on 11-20-13 this is the second time the first time I had no problems but this time I have a real sore throat and swelling in the neck with pain, I am not seeing any blood but neck area is real red and warm to the touch wondering is this normal, I have had a total Laryngectomy a year ago

I read your query and I believe there seems to be infection of the aerodigestive tract. very unlikely there will be trauma due to endoscopy.i will suggest you to get relived from tension. and consult the endoscopist again as a follow up patient and tell the complaint.If still in doubt, please feel free to see a doctor.
