Urethra Swollen On Tip, Burning Sensation While Urinating. Reason And Cure?

Hi I'm 14 and I noticed since last year that I had a swollen urethra at the tip (pee hole) as if the tip had a pair of lips. I started to have a slight burning sensation when I urinated. I waited because i thought it was something minor and it would go away, and it did get better or at least i thought it did because i payed least attention to it. I noticed it again this year, my doctors appointment isn't for another 3 months and I'm kinda getting worried. Oh and I am a version. HAVEN'T had sex AT ALL.

OB & GYN Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

You are probably suffering from urinary infection. One urine examination- routine and culture is required to confirm the diagnosis.

Here, you need to take proper antibiotic (like ofloxacin), urine alkaliser to eliminate such problem. Along with, you drink cranberry juice/ more water, maintain genital hygiene, avoid chemical contacts/ soap around genital region, wear cotton underwear only and empty bladder in time.

Take a proper prescription from your doctor. Good luck.
