Used Heat On Lower Back, Fell Asleep. Having Pus Blisters. Using Antibiotic Ointment. Suggestions?
Yes, I would appreciate it. I used heat on my lower back and fell asleep on it. I now have blisters,2,one larger one about size of quarter. It has a scab on it and we are putting triple antibiotic ointment on it. It has some pus and I was wondering if we should get scab off of it or just continue to clean and use ointment. Outside edges are getting pinker.

HI,BLISTERS ARE ONLY DUE TO APPLICATION OF HEAT OVER THE BACK.FIRST THE BLISTERS SHOULD BE CLEANED BY WATER AND THEN APPLY SILVEREX OINTMENT INSTEAD OF TRIPLE ANTIBIOTIC OINTMENT UNTIL THE BLISTERS GET SEPARTED.THE PINKISH TINGE OVER THE MARGINS INDICATES MILD HEALING.ONCE THE LESION IS HEALED APPLY STERIOD CREAM IN THE MORNING AND TACROLIMUS OINTMENT IN THE NIGHT TO DECREASE THE SCAR AND PIGMENTATION
