Using Melacare Cream, Led To Extremely Fair Skin. Can I Continue Using It?
I am a 37 yrs old female and i am residing at Madurai. I am using melacare cream for the past 7 yrs and now i have a fair complexion and i am unable to stop it as i am addicted to the fairness it has given me. Can i continue to use it or please suggest me a good cream like melacare bcos i don't want my skin to turn dark. I am currently using suncote gel but it is oily, so please suggest me a good water based sunscreen gel

Long term use of Melacare cream is not advisable as it contains chemicals and steroids. It will spoil the natural texture of your skin leading to skin atrophy and striae markings. There are some other creams from herbal source and without steroids available in market. You can use the same for maintenance of your fairness.
Apart from these you have to protect from UV Rays (sun light) for ever to maintain your fairness through using sun screening lotions and cap or umbrella.
Better sun screening lotions are available without much oily in nature.
If you consult your dermatologist at Madurai, he/she will help you in this regard.
