Hello,

The vibrating sensation can be suggestive of Peripheral neuropathy.

Peripheral neuropathy refers is a condition that result when nerves that carry messages to and from the brain and spinal cord from and to the rest of the body are damaged.

The most coon cause of peripheral neuropathy is Diabetes Mellitus. You mention that you are prediabetic.

Prediabetes is an indication that you could develop type 2 diabetes (T2D) if you don’t take some immediate and lasting lifestyle changes.

Studies show that even prediabetes can produce chronic complication like Diabetes and this can be a possible explanation for your symptoms.

If you were my patient I will suggest to do some specific Nerve tests for peripheral neuropathy like Pinprick test,Ankle reflex, Vibration perception, Pressure sensation, Nerve conduction velocity (NCV) and electromyography (EMG).

These tests are decisive to diagnose diabetic neuropathy. Having this common condition diagnosed can help you get relief from your actual symptoms, protect your feet from small injuries before they become more serious and help you walk more easily.

My advice is to consult physically a local neurologist for the necessary nerve tests and the right treatment, accordingly to the test results.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
