Vitamin D Deficiency, Suspect Diverticulitis, IBM, Getting Weaker, Joint Pain, Lower Abdomen Pain. Any Opinion ?

My husband has a very low Vitamin D defency. He has been told he has Diverticulous then IBM. The doctor's can not seem to pinpoint his problem. Now he is getting worse by the year. He is weak, joint pain, his lower abdomin hurts all most all the time. He has had 8" of his large intestines removed cause they said he had Diverticulous. I keep telling them they are missing something in their cat scans. Thank you for your opinion.

Hi, your husband got majority of his colon is removed, and defecient in vitamin D, and getting treatment.
First of all he should get treatment for symptoms, which may not be related to the disease, his psychological factors must be treated, so that he can feel comfertable and forget his operation.
I advise you to consult a psychiatrist for diagnosis and treatment for his thoughts. Thank you.
