Vomiting, Diarrhea, Loss Of Appetite, Pneumonia. Treatment Options?
my daughter has been vomiting for 7 days and having extreme diarrhea and has been sick 5 days before this with rsv and pneumonia , she only vomits at late night hours and is fine during the day, she has no appetitite for bout 6 days now , when she wakes up vomiting its not digested...the pedi doctors keep changing the diagnosis can you please give me some advice as to what this is
Vomiting, diarrhea with dehydration is very common during childhood. Antibiotic has very less role in RSV Pneumonia because its a viral disease. You should go for stool culture and sensitivity. Regular follow-up with a pediatrician is a must. Rehydration with Oral Rehydration Therapy either with ORS or Electral should be given.
