My son is 21. He has been vomiting since Monday night. With diahrrea. (sp?) He can;t keep anything down. Low grade fever. He went to a clinic but they prescribed a nausea medicine and told him to go home and sleep, that he had been working too hard.
he's so hungry and thirsty. He's also a little scared since he can't keep anything down.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
It appears that he is having acute gastro-enteritis.
First let vomiting stopped with anti emetic medicine.
After vomiting stops, give plenty of water and electrolytes.
Give light diet like curd, rice, buttermilk and fruit juices.
Give him Ofloxacilin, tinidazole combination tablet for 3 days.
Ok and take care.
