Want My Periods In Advance. Prescribed Norethisterone. Side Effects? Good To Post Pone?

I will be getting married and I do not wish to get my periods during my wedding days. I have been prescribed norethisterone to prepone it. I am worried about side effects as I need to take it for 21 days. Would you recommend me preponing it? Or is it better to post pone it. That way I will take the medicine for a shorter period of time? Please advise.

Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic

There are potential side effects associated with any medication including hormonal medications such as norethisterone. These side effects are only possible, they may or may not occur, most persons do not experience complications

Risk would be increased by history of blood clots or blood disorder, heart attack, stroke, jaundice, liver disease, allergy to progesterone.

You can discuss any potential complications and risks with your doctor and decide if you wish to use it.

I hope this helps
