Was Diagnosed With Influenza, High Anc And Low Lymphocytes, Enlarged Lymph Nodes In Throat, Ear And Jaw Line. What Can Help?

I recently was diagnosed with influenza(child) even though I am 28. I had a high anc and a low lymphocyte count on my CBC. I do have a noticeably enlarged lymph node in my throat near the base of my ear & jawline. Aside from that, I have no signs of the flu or any other infection--no fever, cold-like symptoms, body aches, head aches, chills, etc..

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic
it seems you developed submandibular lymphadenitis
a solitary lymph node enlargement without any constitutional symptoms suggests that it is not a nonspecific infection
better to rule out tuberculosis with the advice of your physician
Hope this answer will serve your purpose
Take care
