Hello and welcome to HCM.
Thank you for your query.
I understand your concern and shall try my level best to help you. Although you have mentioned a history of secondary
amenorrhea, you have not mentioned the specific condition and the medications you are on.
But, based on the scenario provided, it appears as though
pregnancy cannot completely be ruled out. Although the symptoms you are experiencing can be related to an approaching period, or even a change in
hormonal levels due to the medications (unknown) you are on.
It is always best to rule out pregnancy, if you indeed had unprotected sexual intercourse. The best way to do this is to conduct a home pregnancy test 2 weeks after your last sexual contact or on the first or second day of a missed period. The best result is yielded with an early morning urine sample. You might have to repeat this test 2-3 times to get a confirmed result.
Once pregnancy is ruled out, you can rest assured that these symptoms are purely hormonal. If you experience any other symptoms, please feel free to write back to me, my information is listed below.
I hope I have succeeded in providing the information you were looking for. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications at: http://doctor.healthcaremagic.com/doctors/dr-shoaib-khan/64581 . I would gladly help you.
Best wishes.
