Was Diagnosed With Syrinomyelia, Has T2 And T10 Injury And Hurts. Can Walk But Wears Something Around Stomach

I have a daughter who was diagnosed with syrinomyelia since she was 23. she is 30 now. She has t2 to t10 injury. She can walk but she wears something around the stomach and back. I think that she needs to strenghten those muscles but She is always mad and says that no one understand her pain that it hurts to do therapy. I now after all these years get upset cuz she is not trying to do physical therapy or go to school to do something for her life. What should I do? -
