Was Injured. Have Ruptured And Torn Muscle, Swelling, Rock Hard Foot. Be Concerned?

I have a ruptured acl, torn mcl, meniscus, fractured tibia. I am 5 weeks from the injury and still have excessive swelling. Yesterday I flew from Santa Fe to DC . When I got home my leg from my knee to my foot was rock hard and swollen like day one of injury. This morning it was half way back to the normal swelling but still calf has some hardness. Sh would I be concerned?

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello, as you travelled the swelling has increased. Keep your leg elevated, apply ice. Only one thing is to be ruled out if you have developed DVT. So also consult a doctor, if needed he will place you on a anti coagulant. Thank you
