Was On Suboxone, Had Sleeping Problem, Stomach Pain And Diarrhea. Started Lortabs For Withdrawal. Advise?

Hey, i was on suboxone for a year and i have been off for 3 weeks today, last night was the worst night ever, i couldnt sleep i was about to jump out of my skin i had stomach pain and diarrhea i have to be honest i started taking about 8 to 10 lortabs a day to help with the withdrawals im not happy but its the only thing that helps tomorrow i will call my doctor for ultram, what do you think i should do to help the withdrawal

Hi,

Usually suboxone withdrawal does not last for three weeks. Butt now that you have started lortab and will be starting Ultram soon, I suggest that you gradually taper these off and stop them to avoid becoming dependent on them. Catapres would help control the diarrhoea and other withdrawal symptoms. Loperamide can also be taken for diarrhoea. Please ask your doctor to prescribe you some. Also take lots of oral rehydrating solutions.
