Weakness In Arms, Legs. Having Hypothyroid, Fibromyalgia. Lower Spine And Hip Degeneration In Family. Should I Meet A Chiropractor?

I am going to go to a Chiropractor tomorrow! I have been steadily getting worst with constant weakness in my arms and legs that I am now thinking is a result of lower spin and hip degeneration that runs in my family. I am hypo thyroid and have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. Do you think that Chiropractic medicine is where I should be going?

Hello,

Myalgia and weakness may be due to hypothyroidism.
So you need to check you thyroid profile and adjust the level of Thyroxine accordingly.

Before going to the Chiropractor you need to confirm that you're suffering from hip and spine related degenerative conditions.

For this you may have to

1. Take X ray and MRI of the spine and hip joint.
2. Consult an Orthopedician and a Rheumatologist.
