Weight Gain After Taking Movicol. Medication Side Effect?
My doctor gave me Movicol, I started taking it on Monday and within three days I put on half a kilo in weight. I have been following a diet since January and expected a loss this week. The medication is the only change I have made, so I was completely surprised by this gain. Weight gain is not listed as a side effect on the leaflet, but I googled it and have found that others have experienced this. What do you think?

movicol should be used as short term treatment only in severe cases, i dont think that this would be the reason of your weight loss
