Went Into Convulsions. Hear A Whooshing Sound In The Ear, Headaches, White Flashes In Vision. Suggestions?

hi, I was recently at a hospital and went into convulsions or what I think was a partial seizure as I was aware of my surroundings but had no control over my arms and legs. the dr told me it was anxiety or hyperventillation. it happened 3 times that night each worse than the first. the dr gave me ativan and sent me home with no answers. I can hear a whooshing sound in my ears I get headaches on one side of my head, I have white flashes in my vision, spontaneous dizziness, my hands will suddenly start to go numb sometimes creeping to the rest of my body then causing convulsions or locking up tight. followed by anxiety. the anxiety has never happened first always after. also severe fatigue all the time. joint pains

Welcome to HCM
We understand your concerns
In all probability your problem is something related to anxiety. May be nearer to Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). This happens when some body faces with a medical situation beyond their control and some how un expected and threatening.

All other symptoms you indicate are largely associated with anxiety. Hospitalization for convulsion and seizure and diagnosis for anxiety and hyperventilation are surely heartening, because you ar doing good.

But that hospitlization driven anxiety and PTSD gives you restlessness. Thats all. In two or three weeks these symptoms will subside. If not please consult a pychologist.
Wish you speedy recovery.
