Went On Medication Called Furosemide. Abnormal Changes In Lifestyle. What Is The Reason?
i hav,e a friend who just went on a medication called furosemide. This pill turned what was a vivatious, sm, art, sharp, funny, kind and loved his ranch into a very confused, no appetite, lost all interests in life. His family & friends contacted the doctor who prescribed this to him and were told it may take a while for his body to adjust to the pill. we believe it is killing him
Hi
Furosemide may sometimes cause adverse effects like - loss of appetite, dry mouth, drowsiness, restless feeling, confusion, nausea, vomiting, increased urination, muscle pain or weakness, fainting, or seizure (convulsions), headache, trouble concentrating, weakness, ringing in your ears, short of breath, rapid heart rate, trouble concentrating, blurred vision, etc.,. This does not mean Abnormal LifeStyle Changes. If it happens in your friend, you must exclude Anxiety states or Depression as these may happen because of increasing tension due to his illness itself.

Ranjit
