What Alternative Medication Can Be Prescribed For A Patient Who Is Taking Alprazolam For About 28 Years?

I ve been taking alprazolam (xanax) for approx. 28yrs. What is a substitute nowadays for this if it does NOT seem to work any longer? I understand that I cannot stop them at once, or is there something I can add to them or should I try volume? Your advice is GREATLY appreciated.

Hello,

There are recent molecules available for replacement of alprazolam as escitalopram, lorazepam or others which are of course prescription molecules and cannot be gained without prescription by your doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
