Hi Doctor, I want to know the usage of protein supplements. What amount of protein is recommended for a 30 year old male weighing 200 lbs. What are side effects and how to fight them. If not through protein, what are high protein rich vegetarian foods?

You are 30 years of age, and 200lbs,weight. I don't think you need any protein supplements unless you deprive the fats first.
Natural supplements for proteins are the pulses, dry fruits,milk, animal foods, and eggs.You can use these foods, which may not cause unwanted muscle.
First of all you concentrate on the weight reduction, by avoiding the calories, fats, and oils. Minimize the sleeping time.
