Hello,
Welcome to HCM
Thanks for posting your query.
Relax, any harm to your baby is unlikely.
Could you please let me know the reason your doctor had prescribed this high dose of Inj Betnesol.
The usual indications for steroid injections are
Treating
severe asthma attacks (status asthmaticus).
Treating severe allergic reactions, such as
anaphylaxis or swelling of the face, throat and tongue (
angioedema). This medicine supplements the action of adrenaline injections.
Treating shock (a severe life-threatening drop in blood pressure that deprives vital organs of oxygen) due to surgery, injury or severe infection.
Treating
acute adrenal insufficiency, which occurs when the
adrenal glands can't produce enough natural steroid hormones, for instance due to abnormal stress in people with Addison's disease or Simmond's disease, in people who have had their adrenal glands surgically removed, or in people with underactive adrenal glands due to prolonged corticosteroid therapy.
