What Are Effects Of Exposure To Mercury?

dropped a mercury thermometer and it broke, but just the tip spilled-rest of it stayed in thermometer-think I got most of it but teeny tiny bits might be left(floor is made of small individual tiles). pretty sure there is no danger-just wanted second opinion. thanks
