What Are Recurring Red Spots On The Right Foot Suggestive Of?

In the last 2 days I have started getting red, fairly symmetrical spots on my right foot---nothing on my left. In the last 36 hours I have gotten 8 to 10, approximately 1/4 inch in circumference. They are not painful and they do not secrete. I did wear a pair of socks that were made in Asia that were a gift before washing them. But nothing has arisen on my left foot. What do you think it might be?
