My mom got her blood results back, and she needs to cut down on the cholesterol ASAP, and also has various other factors that are increasing her chances of heart problems. What can she do to better her heart and eat better to lower her levels?

Purple grape juice or 1-2 glasses of red wine Oatmeal or, even better, oat bran Anything with fiber; fruits, vegetables, etc. Fish oil supplements are very effective as well, but if she is on a blood thinner she needs her docs permission first
