What Are The Bad Effects Of Overdoses Of Butalbital?

I'm in the middle of a custody battle and a drug test was ordered. I tested clean on all but by ex tested positive for barbiturates: Butalbital Quant: 790 ng/mL. I am trying to locate what the therapeutic levels, toxic levels, and lethal levels of this drug are? Trying to determine if my kids are in danger of their mother overdosing. She has a valid prescription but tends to take more than the required dosage.

Hello
Therapeutic doses are:3-6 mg /kg /day.
Toxic doses 1.5 gm
Lethal doses 2-3 gm( for short acting barbiturates ) , for more lipid soluble .
Lethal doses for long acting barbiturates 5-10 gm .
Lethal dose depends on lipid solubility .
Pharmacological actions are as :
Sedation------sleep------anaesthesia-----coma -----death.
Effects of single dose of short acting barbiturates last just 6-10 hours while elimination t1/2 is 15-50 hours . Hope you received your answer about barbiturates.
Good luck.
